About the Artist

Meridel Jovelina is an illustrator and a New England native. In 2022, they received their BFA in Illustration from Maine College of Art & Design. Often using the form of hand lettering, Meridel’s work audaciously puts forth their anti-capitalist perspective and explores their identity as a genderfluid dyke.
